So, i decided to do a cleansing for my NY resolution. I’ve done them before– swear by them. And no!, it’s NOT the type of cleansing where you take weird colon capsules or laxative pills, and then spend 1/2 your life on the toilet…
This is simply a diet that I will follow for the next 10 days (I started on January 2). I’m attempting to eat nothing but tea, coffee, lemon water, soup, and Slimfast. Basically, liquids only.
On the Master Cleanse program, the diet would be limited to clear broth, lemonade, grade B maple syrup, and cayenne pepper (Slimfast, coffee, and opaque soups would not be allowed– which is why I call my version of the diet ”adulterated”).
I’m convinced I can’t live without coffee, and I truly need the Slimfast on the days that I train. I logged 7 miles today, and without the coffee and Slimfast, I may have died. seriously. you try running 7 miles after 2 days of nothing but water, tea, lemon, and clear broth…
