i feel like i’ve been sick forever, the new job training sucks, and the water tank is busted.

I’m not feeling like myself today.  i’m sure it’s because i’m so tired… and anxious about the new job. 

i should be feeling better now– HR called and apologized for the error in my contract–  at least that’s been straightened out.  all is well now– kinda-sorta.  i had somewhat of a mini breakdown prior to the phone call and raided the fridge/pantry– chunk of provolone cheese, two cinnamon graham cracker squares, and two oreos.  oink-oink!

just got my official offer letter in the mail.  salary listed is my current salary– and NOT what we agreed on.  crapola.  what the hell is wrong with people?

Truly, you should never EVER take away someone’s hope… it may be all they have.

Yesterday, a patient leaned in close to me and asked if I’d ever known a stage 4 lung cancer patient to “make it.”

So, I leaned in even closer and whispered, “Damn straight I have… i’ve witnessed freakin’ MIRACLES!”

Truth– yes, i’ve known patients that were stage 4 and given 2 -4 months to live who went on to live a full 2 years (active, productive lives) past their “expiration dates.”

Miracles happen… HOPE ROCKS.
