wednesday’s abs: the perfect guy

i put the ring back on

yep.  did it.  the original ring.  the one from the wedding ceremony.  haven’t taken it off since i slipped it on early yesterday afternoon.

haven’t really talked to the pilgrim in the past two days.  weaning again.  i think he’s over the worst of losing his daughter.  he has his wife with him. 

and my hubby needs me.  he’s going thru some rough times.  it’s nice to be needed (even if he doesn’t let me buy the clothes i want).

and i love him.  deeply.  and i’m only now beginning to realize it after all these years of wishy-washy-ness. 

so, i put a ring on it.

i don’t know what the prob is…

i want to buy $2,449 of clothes/shoes/jackets from Nordstrom.  husband said, holy hell NO.

seriously… what’s the prob?  he drives a lexus, has top of the line golf clubs, and a closet full of $800 dollar suits and $200 shoes.

so, i asked how much i could have to buy a new fall wardrobe.  he says, $500.  when i asked WHY is was ok for him to have expensive duds and not me, he said, “because he holds a position requiring him to dress in a certain way, and i DO NOT.”

(well f*ck me and my low paying job)

i really needed these shoes…

not to mention this dress, jacket, and these boots…

just attempting to do my part in stimulating the economy… geesh.
