What Church Do You Belong To?

Excuse me.  Don’t you think that’s a little personal.  Especially from a stranger? 

Not sure why I felt so offended.  Guilt maybe (??).  Having been raised Catholic and “abondoning” my faith, maybe I just didn’t have the courage to fess up and say, “I don’t belong to any church.”

What’s so wrong with that answer (??).  Why couldn’t I comfortably answer the question.

Why did I feel the need to LIE (good god!).  

Seriously, wtf?

The words that tumbled out– matter of factly– were, “Seton Parish.”

Forgive me Father for I have sinned…

it’s been nine years since my last confession and these are my sins–

• I’ve said the “F” word countless times
• I’ve called off sick from work when I haven’t been sick
• I’ve cursed under my breath at stupid drivers
• I’ve cursed out loud at really stupid drivers
• I’ve used the office copier for personal copying
• I stole a bottle of white-out from the office
• I attempted to seduce my highschool sweetheart but chickened out
• I haven’t been to church in nine years because I just haven’t felt like it

Done.  Nine years of sins…   (fuck, i’m boring).
